Pooja Thali

 

Pooja thali is the plate in which all the items required to perform the worship or the puja of the God and Goddess are kept. The puja-thali has special significance for the festival of diwali in which the worship of Goddess Lakshmi is the main theme.

 

 

 

MATERIAL

• Steel Thali


• Any Decorative cloth


• Ribbon or Different type of Kinari


• Tissue Flowers and leaves


• Ghota


• Small Decorative mirror


• Fevicol


• Small Kalash and Katoris.

INSTRUCTION

1. Clean the thali with a wash cloth.


2. Stick decorative cloth in the center of the thali. Let it dry.


3. Make a "Satiya" or any design in the center with Ghota or ribbon.


4. Stick Tissue flowers or ribbon flowers around the corner in clusters.


5. Stick some mirrors around the design. Let it dry completely.


6. Now place Kalash and Katoris and voila your thali is ready!
