Quilling Card



 

Quilling technique is simple: After a long, narrow ribbon of paper is rolled around a needlelike tool, the strip is slipped off, arranged with your fingertips into the desired shape, and then glued to a background of contrasting paper, fabric, or wood.


 

 

 

MATERIAL




  • 30 cm Green, Blue, Red,  Orange  Color strip 4 nos each

  • 7.5 cm Yellow, Blue, Light Blue,  Orange Color strip 4 nos each

  • White Sheet folded into card size 20 cm x 12 cm

  • Sketch Pen or Glitter Pen

  • Scissors and fevicol


INSTRUCTIONS




  1. Take the  30cm strip of all the colors and make a quilled shape of square. Make 4 of each color.

  2. Stick four Squares of same color to form a box shape, As shown above.

  3. Take 7.5 cm strip and make 2 Tear Drop shape and 2 Tight Coil shape for each color.

  4. Place Two Tear Drop on the box to form a bow and two coils at the both end as in picture.

  5.  Similarly make three more gift boxes.

  6. Now arrange the gift boxes on the top side of the card and stick them.

  7. For border you can either make a pattern using sketch/Glitter pen or you can stick the quilling strip on the corners.

  8. You can write desired message both inside and outside the Card.
